What is Navapashanam?
Navapashanam (நவபாஷாணம்) is traditionally described in Siddha literature and practice as an alchemical preparation involving nine substances. The word Nava means “nine”, while Pashanam refers to substances traditionally used in Siddha alchemical preparations.
Navapashanam is particularly associated with the Siddha tradition of Tamil Nadu and with Siddhar Bogar.
